About me

Hi, I’m Sedef Yilmaz — a wedding photographer based in Berlin with over ten years of experience.

I photograph couples on one of the most important days of their lives in a calm and honest way, with a clear and modern aesthetic.

I love weddings, but I also love the quiet moments in between. This calm feeling is part of my photography: emotional, natural, and timeless.

I came to wedding photography by chance. Today, I know it was the right path for me. I now focus on modern and elegant weddings and work with experience, sensitivity, and a strong feeling for real moments and beautiful details.

On your wedding day, I’m not only there to take photos. I’m there to make you feel comfortable and safe. I stay in the background when needed and guide you gently during the couple shoot. This creates natural wedding stories with a modern, editorial touch.

What matters most to me is that you can be yourselves. Whether you are quiet and close or full of energy and ready to celebrate.I go with your flow and capture what makes you you.

You are always my focus. I create a relaxed atmosphere where you can feel at ease and trust me. This is the key to natural photos and a wedding day you will remember with joy.

01. Getting to know each other & booking

It all starts with a personal conversation,online or by phone. I want to learn who you are and what is important to you for your wedding day.

At the same time, you should also get a good feeling about me, because trust is the base of everything.

If it feels right for both sides, we move forward with the contract and deposit, and your wedding date is officially reserved.

02. The preparation & your wedding day

In the time before your wedding, I support you with experience, helpful tips, and a clear eye for timing, light, and flow. We talk about your wishes, special moments, and the people who are important to you. A small guide helps you feel well prepared and relaxed.

On your wedding day, you can let go. I stay quietly in the background and step in exactly when needed. I capture emotions, details, and real moments, from getting ready to the party. You don’t have to perform or pose. You can simply feel and enjoy.

03.After the wedding

A few days after your wedding, you will receive a small preview so you can relive the day again.

After that, I carefully select and edit your images with a strong focus on mood, colors, and emotions.

After a few weeks, you will receive your full online gallery,thoughtfully curated, professionally edited, and ready to share.

If you wish, I also create fine art prints or a high-quality album that tells your story in a lasting way.

Many couples wonder how long they should book wedding photography. A short coverage can seem enough at first until you realize how much is missed.

Your story does not start at the ceremony. It begins in the quiet moments before and lives in everything in between. These moments cannot be recreated later.

4 h wedding coverage - 1400 €

A 4-hour coverage is perfect for a focused part of your wedding day. Depending on the schedule, this may include moments such as the ceremony, congratulations, and a short couple shoot.

What you receive with 5 hours:

At least 600 edited digital images

8 h wedding coverage - 2500 €

For over ten years, I have accompanied weddings with heart, experience, and a strong feeling for real moments. I know when to stay in the background and when to support you with calm and clarity.

Shorter coverages are, of course, possible. However, from experience, I recommend at least eight hours. This allows for a complete and authentic story of your day from emotional getting ready to the ceremony and the celebration afterward.

With a full-day reportage, nothing is rushed. You have time, no pressure, and a complete memory of your wedding day. Not just beautiful images, but the feeling of how it truly was.
